The proximity of the data analysis deployment solutions to the data sourcing means that many African companies can now enjoy lower networking costs and faster data management in the cloud.
Thankfully, there is no need anymore to access the Azure cloud with Power BI through international data centres. New customers will be automatically routed to their closest regions; in this case, the African centre. However, public cloud customers can still leverage additional regions via the multi-geo support in the Power BI premium solution.
