Villa Crop Protection is a South African entity providing a comprehensive range of high quality, cost-effective crop protection solutions, creating wealth for all stakeholders while satisfying the Southern African farmers’ need for sustainable crop production.

The Villa story began in 1989 as Exportos. It was established to supply off-patent crop protection products to the South African market, but the team soon realised the need for local distributors (dealers) to source alternative, cost-effective sources of generic products. 

At present, Villa commands an approximate 20 percent share of the local market. The company sells to dealers that have a shareholding in the company, as well as dealers who are not equity partners in the company.

Business Situation

Villa Crop Protection was considering a new Microsoft Dynamics ERP partner at the beginning of 2017 after experiencing a significant degeneration of service delivery from their current provider.

The company engaged with Strategix to meet their ERP implementation and support requirements to improve data processing and business operations.
